Love him or hate him Drake has coined one of my favorite summertime phrases [Summer Sixteen]. In celebration of how often I refer to it I've created a roundup of some of my favorite swimwear brands so get ready to break out the self tanner, get your inflatable donuts and pool noodles out and slather on the SPF... it's SUMMER SIXTEEN!
It only makes senses that the brains behind Acacia Swimwear are from Hawaii and California. With heaps of experience wearing swimsuits and years of designing them these babes have nailed the cut, fabric and fit. My favorite top is a flattering low scoop style, a close second has a high cut neck sassed up with tribal cutouts. Their designs marry tribal and tropical in low key and neutral shades that add a hint of sophistication that I never seem to tire of. They also design one-pieces that will leave all the boys at the bar drooling and high waisted numbers that T. Swfity would approve of.

A cherished friend knows the babe responsible for the fab pieces Lolli Swim continues to create so basically that means I'm somewhat of an acquaintance, right? Anyways, designer Vy continues to sweeten & brighten up our days with the funnest of fun cuts and prints. Lolli is THE creator of the original cheeky bow bottoms that other brands have tried to replicate but let's get real here, nothing is better than the original ;)

Unique cuts and prints that scream 'take me on a tropical vacation' are what caught my eye when I first discovered Albion. They create cuts that even the most body conscious ladies will feel comfortable wearing. And it's all about feeling comfortable and confident, right?! They are a family owned business and everything is designed by women for women. Keep your eyes peeled on their blog, they often do giveaways and post about opps to join their family - errr - team.
