TGISUNDAY! We all know a Sunday when we, well, wake up on one. If your life is one where you are often wondering what day it is, I bet you always know when it's a Sunday. Sundays FEEL different. One of my favorite things to do on a Sunday besides nothing is to browse topics on the web that I just FEEL like looking at/reading. I figure if I like doing it, others must too. So I'm sharing. Every Sunday. Enjoy!
The Skinny Bitch Collective. I WISH I had come up with/had the balls to call something this. I discovered it on The Coveteur (albeit a couple years late) and spent some time perusing their site. Their about page is even cool: WTF is SBC. If you know me, you know that WTF is a part of my daily vocabulary so they had me at W. It's a class in London, the name of the game is "preaching squatting, sleep and sex and fusing strength and metabolic conditioning with SBC signature movements." Apparently famous people do it so it must be good, right? Ha. Anyways, while I wait for it to come to Texas, I tested out some of their suggested workout moves on the The Coveteur's post here.
NOBULL footwear. Water repellent, lightweight, flexible, durable, and breathable - "like a ninja" they say. I haven't tried these on, nor have I seen them in person but they interest me. I find myself gravitating towards the runners in my closet that are the opposite of bulky. One of the reasons these caught my eye are for this very reason. Now, the main reason they caught my eye is because they say NO BULL on them which, duh, I love. Direct quote "our gear won't make you fitter. The only thing that will make you fitter is you. Working hard. Day after day". I dig. Oh - and the print on each trainer is unique to boot, so technically, NO ONE is going to have the same shoes as you.

"I’ve learnt to…always speak the truth. In business, play, love and live. Be yourself. Unashamedly. And break past the fear of hurting others or having them disapprove of you."
5 Of Australia’s Most Inspiring Women On Success, Failure & Life Lessons. I'm a sucker for posts like this, with good reason. I genuinely get inspired by legit tips from people who have 'made it happen', even if it is something I could have thought of myself. It's different hearing it from someone else for me, I don't know why and I don't have to know why. So have a read and be inspired.
TSC ITINERARY: THE REAL WAY TO DO NEW YORK CITY. I love NYC and one of my best's lives there so anything NYC travel catches my eye. The more I travel, the less research I want to do when I go. I'm tired of YELP and reading reviews from people that probably don't have the same taste as me or are just writing to complain. I no longer like sifting through the internet for what usually turns out to be sponsored reviews or posts on restaurants or activities. I like word of mouth recommendations from like minded people. Lauryn from The Skinny Confidential is blast and her husband (who wrote this post), I quote, "does not fuck around when it comes to the travel game."
He got my attention.
This post is loaded with eats and drinks in NYC to suit any mood. #NYCorbust
