i started doing home workouts a couple of days a week, justification being i can fit a 20 minute workout in while my coffee is brewing making the excuse of "not having enough time to go to the gym and back" null and void. and i'm loving it! Jill's been an excellent resource for simple workouts - she often tacks them on to her long runs. since we're both hooked, you can expect to see workout posts in the future!
we love black and we love the mesh trend in fitness apparel right now. both bring different functionalities to the table - black is flattering *especially in spandex* and it doesn't show sweat as much so you have a better chance of tricking the barista at your post-workout coffee stop into thinking you changed after your sweat sesh. mesh keeps it cool. seriously, i can wear these full length leggings to a sweaty spin class because the mesh covers the back of my leg from ankle to mid-thigh. my love affair with these tights doesn't stop there, they are also high waisted (win!), have snug pockets on both legs to slide my keys or phone into and zippers on the ankle = another style option.
sporty oversized boyfriend tee's for the win! stylish for workouts and so easy to transition to wine with ladies. i threw mine over a snug racerback dress (a high waisted skirt would work well too), tied it in the front (a tie in the back looks cute too) and completed the look with accessories - watch + classic black heels.
